Anneliese Louise van der Pol was born on September 23,1984 in The Netherlands to Wim van der Pol & Dyan Ross.
While still a young girl, Anneliese moved to the United States, and still retains dual Dutch/American citizenship.
While pregnant with Anneliese, Dyan visited the house where the late Anne Frank hid from the Nazis during World
War 2. Dyan was so moved by the experience that she decided to name her youngest daughter after her. Anneliese
is very proud of this fact and deems it "appropriate" as she and her family are Jewish. Anneliese has 2 older sisters
named Sarah, who is an actress & Rachel who is an artist.

At the age of 9, Anneliese performed in her first play called "The Good Times are killing Me" at the Long Beach
Playhouse in the role of "Lucy". At the age of 15, Anneliese was selected to play the role of Eva Peron in the musical
"Evita" for the Buena Park Civic Theater, securing Anneliese's place in US theatrical history when she became the
youngest person ever to play the role in a professional production.  A year later, Anneliese played the role of Laurey
in "Oklahoma". She also played "Sandy" in a production of "Grease". An accomplished dancer, she altso portrayed
"Clara" in "The Nutcracker".

In 2001 Anneliese decided to audition for a TV show called "That's so Raven" for the part of "Chelsea Daniels".   At
first Anneliese did not get the part. However, they fired the girl they originally picked after just 3 days, and brought
Anneliese in. This is perhaps one of her best known roles. While a member of the cast, Anneliese contributed her
impressive & powerful vocals to several projects, including the show's theme song. Anneliese performed the song
"Alone In The Hallways" during the episode "Road To Audition". Anneliese appeared on the "That's So Raven Too!"
soundtrack, where she performed the song "A Day In The Sun" as well as contributed vocals to the songs "Friends" w/
Raven, & "Let's Stick Together" w/Raven and Kyle Massey.

Anneliese also contributed her powerful and impressive vocals to the song "Candle On The Water" for the Disney
Mania 4 cd, as well as the song "Over It" for the soundtrack to the Disney Channel Original Movie "Stuck In The
Suburbs", she also was featured on the Disney Channel Circle Of Stars' songs "Circle of Life" & "A Dream Is A Wish
Your Heart Makes".

Not long after the end of "That's So Raven", Anneliese auditioned for the role of "Belle" in Broadway's "Beauty & The
Beast". On April 3, 2007, Anneliese made her Broadway debut in Beauty and the Beast. During this time, Anneliese
made several live appearances in NYC, most notably making her second appearance on "Live w/Regis & Kelly" where
she performed the song "A Change In Me". On July 29, 2007, Anneliese made her final appearance as "Belle", for on
this night the show closed its doors forever.

Anneliese has recently been cast as "Kathy" in "Vanities: A New Musical" alongside talented actresses Lauren
Kennedy & Sarah Stiles. The show will make its Broadway debut in NYC in February of 2009.
